Meet. Dr. Arvind Tiwari, former Medical Officer, is a renowned Ayurveda and Panchakarma specialist who believes in practicing ancient Ayurvedic medicine with modern understanding. With keen interest in clinical research and providing natural treatments for various chronic diseases, he is successfully practicing as a Ayurveda Specialist for more than 8 years. Currently, he is the director of Sahaj Aarogyam, the holistic wellness centre in Indore. Dr. Tiwari started his journey in the field of Alternative Medicine with a Diploma in Naturopathy from Kalpvraksh Yog Pariwar, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh in May 1998. Later, he did a Diploma in X-Ray and Electrocardiography Technology, Pathology in April 2002 from Devi Ahilya Institute of Para-Medical Science, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. His passion to understand treatment of chronic ailments using Ayurvedic Science encouraged him to pursue BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from Shubhdeep Ayurved Medical College and Hospital, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. After completing his degree in 2014, he joined Shubhdeep Ayurved Medical College and Hospital, Indore, Madhya Pradesh as a Medical Officer in 2015 and continued working there till 2017.
In his tenure, Dr. Tiwari was responsible for providing medical assistance and services to the patients. He was also in charge of examining and managing clinical procedures that were being performed by the junior doctors. Meanwhile, Dr. Tiwari also attended a Training Program for Yog, Ayurvedic, Panchakarma, Naturopathy, Ayurvedic and Yoga, at Patanjali Yogpeeth, Haridwar, Uttarakhand in September 2016. His work as a Medical Officer once again gained him a position as a Medical officer at Advance Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Indore, Madhya Pradesh in 2017. He was posted there till December 2018 and contributed medical expertise to patient care and offered guidance to junior physicians. He was in charge of administration and risk management tasks. Dr. Tiwari ensured that the highest standards in patient care were maintained. He also verified complex diagnoses and facilitated treatment plans as a part of his duty.
In September 2019, Dr. Tiwari completed his P.G.D.E.M.S. (Post Graduate Diploma in Emergency Medical Services) from Tata institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, Maharashtra. Later, in Nov. 2019, he did a certificate course in Dermatology, CSD, from the Institute of Health Science, Mumbai, Maharashtra.From Oct. 2020 till Feb. 2022, Dr. Tiwari worked at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, as a Medical officer. Here, he directed, managed and assessed work activities of medical, nursing, clerical, technical, maintenance, service, and other employees. In addition, he was responsible for planning, implementing and administering programs and services in the health care medical facility, including personnel administration, training, and coordination of medical, nursing and physical plant staff. Dr. Arvind Tiwari’s illustrious career is marked with several medical workshops and seminars that enhanced his expertise as an Ayurvedic consultant.
